Sweepstakes policy
Effective: September 3, 2025 Sponsor/Promoter: Ownplay Inc. d/b/a CityVerse Tycoon (“CityVerse Tycoon” or “Sponsor”), 8911 N. Capital of Texas Hwy, Suite 4200, Austin, TX 78759 (mailing for AMOE below).
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
These Sweepstakes Rules (the “Rules”) govern CityVerse Tycoon’s promotional sweepstakes program. By creating an account and participating, you agree to these Rules and the Terms of Use (which are incorporated by reference). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning in the Terms of Use.
1. DEFINITIONS
Gold Coins ("GC"): Non‑redeemable virtual coins used for entertainment only. GC are awarded as game earnings in the Social Casino free‑to‑play mode (e.g., slot outcomes). GC have no cash value, are not prizes, and cannot be redeemed.
Spins: A consumable gameplay resource ("energy"). Your spin counter depletes with play and is replenished via free daily allowances or by purchasing Spin packages in the Store. Spins have no cash value, are not prizes, and cannot be redeemed.
Sweep Coins ("SC"): Sweepstakes entries granted by Sponsor that can be used to play sweepstakes games for a chance to win additional SC which, if won, may be redeemable for cash prizes as described in these Rules.
Platform: CityVerse Tycoon’s website and apps (currently accessible at cityversetycoon.com).
Equal Dignity: Regardless of how obtained, SC are identical in function and have the same odds and game parameters. Purchasing Spins is never required to obtain SC.
2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 Residence/Age. Open only to natural persons who are legal residents of the United States (including DC, excluding outlying territories) and 21 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state, if higher) and physically located in an eligible state at the time of play and redemption.
2.2 Ineligible States. The Sweepstakes is not offered to residents or persons located in the following states: Idaho, Michigan, Nevada, Washington, Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, Hawaii, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Tennessee, Vermont, Connecticut, Montana, Delaware. Sponsor may update this list in response to legal developments; changes will be posted on the Platform and apply prospectively.
2.3 Other Restrictions. One account per person/household. Employees, officers, and contractors of Sponsor and its affiliates, and their immediate family/household members, are not eligible. Participation must be recreational; systematic or professional play may be limited or disqualified.
2.4 Compliance Responsibility. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. Participants are responsible for ensuring participation is legal in their location.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIODS
The promotion is ongoing and consists of recurring monthly “Promotion Periods” beginning at 12:00:00 a.m. ET on the first calendar day of each month and ending at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on the last calendar day of that month. Game outcomes and prize awards occur at the time a sweepstakes game is played.
4. HOW TO OBTAIN SWEEP COINS (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY)
You may obtain SC in any of the following ways. All SC awarded are at Sponsor’s discretion and amounts or availability may change with notice on the Platform.
4.1 Free Daily/Periodic Grants. Sponsor may grant free SC on the Platform (e.g., login awards, streaks, or event bonuses). Any such grants and timing will be disclosed on the Platform.
4.2 Free Bonus With Spin Purchases. When you purchase Spin packages in the Store for entertainment play, Sponsor may grant SC for free as a promotional bonus. Purchasing Spins is not required to obtain SC; see Sections 4.1, 4.3, and 4.4 for free methods.
4.3 Social/Community Giveaways. Sponsor may conduct no‑cost SC giveaways (e.g., via official CityVerse Tycoon social channels). Each giveaway will state the entry method, eligibility, number of SC available, and applicable terms. Giveaways are subject to these Rules and any additional posted terms.
4.4 AMOE – Mail‑In Request (No Purchase Necessary). Send a hand‑addressed #10 envelope containing one hand‑written 3"×5" card to: CityVerse Tycoon Sweepstakes Dept. (AMOE) 1321 Upland Dr., PMB 8133, Houston, TX 77043 The front of the envelope must be handwritten with your return address and the words “CityVerse Tycoon Sweepstakes Credits.” Your card must include, in this order: (a) full legal name; (b) email registered to your CityVerse Tycoon account; (c) your account nickname; (d) your CityVerse Tycoon user ID; (e) your residential address; (f) the unique AMOE postal request code (accessed in‑app via Profile → Sweepstakes → “Get Mail‑In Code”); (g) the statement: “I wish to receive Sweep Coins to participate in the sweepstakes promotions offered by CityVerse Tycoon. I have read, understand, and agree to be bound by the Sweepstakes Policy and Terms of Use.”
Important: (i) No purchase is required. An AMOE postal request code is required but is free and available in‑app via Profile > “Get Mail‑In Code.” (ii) One request per outer envelope. (iii) No maximum number of mail‑in requests. Participants may submit unlimited AMOE requests. Each request must be mailed separately (one request per outer envelope) and comply with these Rules. (iv) Requests must be postmarked from the same state as your registered residential address. (v) Illegible, incomplete, mechanically reproduced, bulk, or fraudulent requests are void. (vi) For each valid request, the participant will receive 1 SC. AMOE SC are automatically added to the user's account upon verification; processing is generally completed within seven (7) days and may take up to fourteen (14) days from receipt of the request card. Sponsor may periodically evaluate the AMOE SC amount to align with the average entry fee in the Sweeps Coin Games and will disclose any changes prospectively on the Platform.
4.5 Automation Prohibited. Use of bots, scripts, AI handwriting/printing tools, or automated systems to obtain SC is prohibited.
4.6 Account Standing. SC may be awarded only to verified accounts in good standing. Inactive accounts (no login for 60 consecutive days) may forfeit unused SC.
5. USING SWEEP COINS TO PLAY GAMES
5.1 How It Works. SC can be used to play designated sweepstakes games for a chance to win additional SC. Only games played with SC are eligible to win redeemable SC prizes.
5.2 Odds/Parameters. The odds of winning depend on the game selected and the SC used and are identical regardless of how SC were obtained (AMOE, free grants, or bonus with purchase). Game parameters (e.g., prize tables) are disclosed on the Platform and may be updated prospectively.
5.3 Fair Play. Automated, collusive, or systematic play (e.g., multi‑accounting, mirrored/opposite selections, self‑referrals) is prohibited and may result in account closure and forfeiture.
5.4 Use‑Before‑Redeem. SC obtained via Sections 4.1–4.4 must be wagered at least once in an SC game before any SC won from that play may be requested for redemption. Sponsor may, with conspicuous disclosure at the time of award, require additional play‑through for specific promotional SC grants not to exceed ten (10) times (10×) the promotional SC amount. Any such requirement will not change game odds and will be applied uniformly to all SC covered by that promotion.
6. VERIFICATION & POTENTIAL WINNERS
6.1 Verification Required. All prize outcomes are subject to verification. Screen images or error displays are not evidence of winning. Sponsor’s determinations are final.
6.2 KYC/Eligibility. Before redemption, Sponsor may require Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) processes, which can include government‑issued photo ID, selfie/biometric match, proof of address, and taxpayer information (e.g., SSN for U.S. W‑9) as required by law.
6.3 Failure to Respond. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to complete required verification or forms within 30 days, or violates these Rules, the prize is forfeited.
7. PRIZES & REDEMPTION
7.1 SC Balance. Your SC balance appears in your in‑app wallet.
7.2 Minimum/Maximum. Minimum redemption request is 50 SC ($50). Each SC has a redemption value of US$1.00 when redeemed. Sponsor may limit redemptions to $1,000 per participant per rolling 7‑day period. Only one redemption may be pending or processed per account in any 5‑day period. Florida‑only prize cap: For participants who are physically located in Florida at the time of award or redemption, the maximum value of any single prize is US$5,000.
7.3 Processing Time/Method. Sponsor processes approved redemptions as promptly as practicable, but processing times are not guaranteed and may vary due to verification, fraud/AML review, and payment-provider availability. In some circumstances — including larger prizes (≥$600) or where additional verification is required — processing may take up to 30 days, and payment may be made in one or more installments. Payments may be processed by authorized Payment Administration Agents. Sponsor may require that cash redemptions be credited to the original payment method you previously used to purchase Spins or to another verified account in your name, subject to provider limitations.
7.4 Adjustments/Errors. Sponsor may correct account errors or miscredits. Erroneous funds constitute a debt to Sponsor.
7.5 Taxes. Participants are solely responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and redemption. Sponsor may issue IRS Form W‑9/W‑2G (U.S.) or other tax forms as applicable.
7.6 Non‑Transferability. SC and prize rights are non‑transferable and not assignable.
7.7 Account Status. Accounts deactivated for Terms of Use violations may forfeit SC.
8. ENTRY CONDITIONS; RELEASE & INDEMNITY
By participating, you agree to abide by these Rules; release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising out of participation, gameplay, or prize use; and acknowledge that participation is at your own risk to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. PUBLICITY
Where permitted by law, winners consent to Sponsor’s use of their name, likeness, voice, opinions, and hometown for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
10. CONDUCT; FRAUD; REMEDIES
Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes (including tampering, cheating, exploiting bugs, or abusive conduct) may result in disqualification, account closure, and legal action. Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical issues, or circumstances beyond its control impair the integrity or feasibility of the promotion, with prospective effect and notice on the Platform.

12. PRIVACY
Information collected from Participants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available on the Platform.
13. RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL GAMING
Although Sweepstakes are not gambling, CityVerse Tycoon encourages responsible play. If you wish to self‑exclude, set voluntary limits, or close your account, contact Support. If gameplay is affecting you negatively, consider resources such as 1‑800‑GAMBLER or your state helpline.
14. SANCTIONS & LAWFUL USE
Participation is prohibited for individuals on any government sanctions list or in embargoed regions. Sponsor may screen Participants to comply with OFAC and other applicable sanctions/AML requirements.
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Disputes are governed by the Terms of Use (including arbitration/class‑action waiver, if applicable). To the extent any conflict exists, the Terms of Use control.
